The Pravetoni Lab focuses on the preclinical development of immunotherapies for substance use disorders, with an emphasis on prescription opioid abuse and pain-related behaviors. Our work aims to elucidate the mechanisms underlying treatment efficacy and durability.

We employ a range of experimental strategies to develop vaccines and antibody-based therapies targeting drugs of abuse, while also exploring applications in other unmet medical needs, including antibiotic-resistant infections.
